- 1930
- S. Dhondusa incepted the company by weaving Gota using copper and
silver plated thin ribbons, which were sourced from north India
- 1940
- Started a gold thread factory and a silk weaving factory. This unit
manufactured silk fabrics and silk sarees, using pure gold threads
- 1985 - Started the manufacture of Dupion silk fabric, mainly for exports
- 1992 - The company became a merchant exporter of plain tassar silk fabric, and dupion silk fabric
- 1999 - Began hand embroidery on Dupion silk fabric.
